The 2020 Italy Transport Cluster assembly took place in video-conference on Friday July 3rd at the Confindustria headquarters for the annual Shareholders’ Meeting.<\/p>\n
At the beginning, the President Enrico Pisino intervened summarizing the main networking activities carried out in 2019 and in the first months of 2020. He then illustrated the particularly critical “post-Covid” moment in the transport sector, highlighting the potential role of Cluster Trasporti in this moment to contribute to a wider debate on the world of transport envisaging an active involvement to define the action plan necessary for the recovery and development of the sector as a whole. With the contribution of the Auditor Dr. Campetta, Dr. Baldi, he reported the 2019 achievements and financial statements – unanimously approved by the Associates.<\/p>\n
The secretary general of Cluster Trasporti, Lucio Sabbadini presented both the 2020-2022 three-year plan with specific details for the 2020 activities. He proposed an adjustment of the membership fees, aimed at the full finalization of the contribution by the Ministry of education university and research (MIUR), and also some updates to the statute of the association with the aim of making operational activities more agile. These topics will have to be resumed during the next meeting, called for 29 September, to allow public bodies to submit these proposals to their members. At the same time, all contributions will be collected to complete the amendments to the statute. During the session, the associative bodies were renewed – that is, the members of the strategic and management committee, the members of the scientific technical committee, and the auditor, while the new president will be appointed during the assembly on 29 September.<\/p>\n
